The management of the Hoffmann Group is aligned with the EFQM Business Excellence Model and follows the criteria clusters Alignment, Realization and Results (see www.EFQM.org). Each of the seven criteria has responsible persons who implement the corresponding action options derived from them worldwide.

An outstanding organization is defined by an inspiring purpose, a desirable vision and an effective strategy. Our vision is to make a positive contribution to society. In doing so, Hoffmann always looks to create innovative solutions to contribute to safety, mobility and sustainability. Hoffmann lives a corporate culture of togetherness and togetherness, thus creating benefits for society, partners and employees.

Hoffmann systematically involves all stakeholders (especially customers, suppliers, employees, partners) in the realization of its business and jointly develops strategies and solutions. The focus is on striving for excellence and sustainability in order to ensure the long-term success of the company.

Short-term success will never be a substitute for long-term corporate success. Balanced results that take into account the views of the various stakeholders, especially customers, are the goal. Here, the focus is on core financial targets, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and corporate social responsibility.

"You have to think quality first and then create it."

- according to Peter Drucker, American automotive pioneer

The pursuit of perfect quality is deeply embedded in Hoffmann's DNA. The market tolerates only minimal quality deviations, so our concern is always to meet or even exceed all quality requirements of our stakeholders.

We therefore strive in particular for stronger preventive quality work in order to prevent deviations from occurring in the first place. The IT-based use of preventive quality methods, such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), as well as design reviews and quality assurance matrices (QAM) in a globally standardized form, are a matter of course.

We use state-of-the-art quality methods, such as inline camera inspection (visual system), 3D coordinate measuring techniques (tactile system), Enhanced 3D CAD for automated sampling. The processes are largely digitally mapped in our ERP system. Thus, we are gradually approaching the goal of "paperless Q-work". The use of data in the context of Industry 4.0 to predict or prevent potential quality incidents is another focus of our work. The application of artificial intelligence methods will also play an increasingly important role in Q-work. Hoffmann is working here with customers and research institutions on the further development of thematic content.

Due to growing product requirements, cleanliness analysis according to the VDA and ISO 16232 standards of stamped and injection-molded parts is becoming increasingly important. For this purpose, we use state-of-the-art analysis and testing methods. Other testing methods - used at Hoffmann - include X-ray-based layer thickness measurement, leakage measurements,
noise measurements. For this purpose, we operate our own
testing facilities.

"The aspiration of every company must be to attract customers and keep them satisfied."

-According to Peter Drucker, American management guru-

We live a customer-centric view. Since the consumer is our main concern, we always ask ourselves whether what we do adds value for our customers. For this reason, customer satisfaction is one of our key performance indicators in our EFQM model. To ensure that we meet and exceed our customers' expectations, we regularly seek their opinions.

Since a large part of the product cost, quality and function is already determined in the early concept phase, we are proud to be able to say that we work closely with many important customers in the context of simultaneous engineering development partnerships already in very early phases and are actively involved in the solution development. This goes as far as the provision of complete "black box" solutions, where the customers transfer the complete development responsibility for parts or components to us.

From conception and the sample phase to industrialization and subsequent series productions, we cover the entire value chain in-house, thus guaranteeing maximum speed and reliability at competitive costs or prices.

We can count the best in their respective industries among our customers. In the mobility sector, we maintain close partnerships with Tier 1 companies such as Bosch, Continental, Mahle, Quader, Swoboda and many others. In the consumer goods industry, we can count companies such as Huawei (also leading companies) among our customers.

We always strive to build long-term customer relationships. To this end, we always strive for a "win-win" situation. We firmly believe that the customer's success is also our success and our success is also the customer's success. With many of our customers we maintain partnerships that go back more than 40 years.

"Suppliers are our close partners.
We win together and lose together."

according to Takeshi Numa, Japanese lean guru

The purchase of materials represents a significant proportion of our costs. It is therefore of existential importance that we work closely and sustainably with the right suppliers. Thus, we are always focused on long-term cooperation than on short-term profit optimization. For example, we have been working successfully with many of our key suppliers for decades. We have entered into strategic partnerships with important suppliers up to joint development partnerships, similar to the way Hoffmann organizes with its customers. Suppliers are important partners and stakeholders for us, and they are treated as such.

We always follow a standardized, transparent and worldwide selection process. In the spirit of lean production, we prefer suppliers as close as possible to the respective Hoffmann production site, following the "local for local" philosophy. In doing so, we use state-of-the-art IT technologies.

We invest resources in the continuous further development of our suppliers within the framework of supplier development programs and support the implementation of lean production principles as well as Industry 4.0. We organize cost work together in the sense of a "win-win" cooperation.

As part of supplier audits and assessments, we review their potential to ensure maximum performance of the entire supply chain. All our suppliers have the appropriate certifications and require all legal requirements.

"If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself."

- after Henry Ford, American automobile pioneer

We cultivate a corporate culture that is characterized by respect and creativity. We attach great importance to the opinions of our employees, as our successful products are the result of the good ideas and great commitment of our employees. Our aspiration is to have satisfied employees who deliver the best performance. Only in this way can we ensure that we can inspire our customers.

We recognized early on that our employees are our most valuable resources. The health, satisfaction and motivation of our employees are our top priorities. We continuously invest in their further education and training in cooperation with leading educational institutions. We have had a very stable workforce for many years and, in line with our principles of passion, enthusiasm and pragmatism, we live a very well-developed team spirit - across all locations worldwide.

We offer great development opportunities through a constant global exchange of collaboration between our team members. Through regular employee surveys and skip level meetings, we actively seek feedback to continuously improve and create the best possible work environment for everyone.

We strongly believe in diversity. Teams composed of different genders, from different cultural backgrounds and different disciplines work best. This is the culture we foster at Hoffmann and have successfully implemented. All three of the company's sites are staffed with teams from a wide range of regions and disciplines, with a good proportion of employees being female. This allows us to be strongly represented in all areas of the company.
